Hisense Competition (“Competition”) Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”)

Eligible Entrants

To be eligible to enter you must:

Reside in Australia

Be over 18 years of age

Employees of Hisense Australia, their immediate families and any agencies associated with this competition are ineligible to enter.

Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or stepchild (whether natural or by adoption), parent, stepparent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, stepbrother, stepsister or first cousin.

Interstate visitors are permitted to win the prize at this promotion.

Entry Process

To enter the competition, an entrant must:

Visit the competition entry form page and register their details;

agree to these T&Cs

Complete a lap at the Melbourne Central activation using the Forza Motorsport 6 setup within the competition period.

Competition Period (time is AEDT, VIC)

The competition will run from 09:00am on 16 November 2023 – 11:59pm 29 November 2023

Prize

The major prize for this competition is:

•           1 x 75″ ULED Mini-LED Series U7KAU (75U7KAU)

There will be one (1) major prize winner.

The total prize pool for this competition is $2,999 ex GST

If the selected prize is not available for any reason, Hisense reserves the right to substitute the prize with another item of equal or greater value if the customer/claimant agrees in writing and subject to any written directions from any applicable regulatory authority. If the customer/claimant does not agree despite reasonable attempts by Hisense to reach an agreement and the selected prize is not available due to circumstances beyond Hisense’s control, Hisense may substitute the prize with another item or items determined by Hisense to be of equal or higher value.

No part of a prize is exchangeable or redeemable for cash or any other prize. Entrants are responsible for any and all expenses that they incur in entering or winning the competition.

The Winner will be responsible for any fees for rearrangement of the delivery and installation .

Winner Selection

The winner for this competition will be determined by whoever achieves and submits the fastest lap time. In the case of a draw, the entrant who submitted the time first will be recognised as the competition winner.

The result of the competition will be final, and binding with no correspondence to be entered into in relation to the final result. This is a game of skill.

Notification of Winner

The prize winner of the prize will be contacted by email and phone, by 12pm AEDT on 1 December 2023.

Unclaimed Prize

If the Promoter is unable to contact a winner (and/or a winner does not contact the Promoter) within the three months of the competition draw, an unclaimed prize draw will be held on 1 March 2024.

Promotion and Marketing

The competition may be promoted via Hisense’s email and social media channels, as well as on the Hisense Australia website (hisense.com.au), including the competition landing page.

By entering the competition, the winners agree to participate in such promotional activity and material as Hisense Australia may require without remuneration.

For the purpose of this promotion and further marketing, the winners also consent to the use and publication of their name and any other details provided by the winners in any marketing material without any further reference or payment to the winners.

General

Please read these competition terms and conditions carefully. If you enter the competition, we will assume that you meet the entry eligibility requirements and have read these terms and conditions and that you agree to them. Hisense reserves the right to disqualify any entrants if Hisense reasonably suspect the entrant has any unlawful or improper conduct. Such improper conduct can include: infringing a third party’s intellectual property rights; or a breach of the competition terms and conditions.

1. Hisense reserves the right to amend the competition and its terms and conditions at any time and for any reason, subject to regulatory approval (if required) and will notify entrants of any such amendments as soon as reasonably practicable on the landing page at Hisense. It is the entrant's responsibility to regularly check the competition landing page for any amendments. Any amendments will be applied and interpreted at the sole discretion of Hisense.

2. If the competition is not capable of running as planned including by reason of technical failure, fraud or any cause beyond Hisense’s control, Hisense may cancel or suspend the competition or invalidate any affected competition attempts, to the extent permitted by law.

3. To the extent permitted by law, Hisense shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered in connection with the conduct of the competition or the competition or use of the prize (including but not limited to direct loss) including:

a) Technical or telecommunications problems (such as security breaches, technical website malfunctions or glitches); or

b) Acts or omissions (including negligent acts of omissions) of Hisense’s servants or agents involved in the conduct of this competition who are acting outside their authority as agent of Hisense.

5. Please read the Hisense privacy policy available on the Hisense website at https://hisense.com.au/privacy/ which tells you how we use any personal information we may collect about you by entering a competition.

6. To the extent permitted by law, Hisense collects personal information to conduct the competition and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to subsidiary and related companies, third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, and any company with whom we are running the competition.

7. Hisense is not liable for any tax implications arising from prize winnings, including fringe benefits tax. Independent financial advice should be sought.

8. The laws of Victoria apply to this competition. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts in Victoria.
